Each tweak brings only silence. This device is as stubborn as a boulder. Frustration bubbles up inside him, prompting a dramatic snatch of the owner’s manual. To his dismay, he uncovers the hidden truth—the gadget never received its electric spark.

How can a technological wonder blossom without an empowering jolt? Once plugged in, the wheels of progress start to spin.

His earlier vexations weren’t misplaced; they simply lacked that vital connection. The harsh truth hit: without power, this device was just plastic hitting metal.

Many people relate to this confused man. They start journeys without a clear plan, putting the cart before the horse. Ask the wrong question, and you’ll plunge headfirst into a maze of misguided solutions.

For over a decade, I’ve delved into the depths of poverty worldwide. I discovered some common threads that weave through the fabric of hardship, regardless of age, race, religion, or status. Due to space limitations, I’ll illuminate two key reasons in this article.

l IGNORANCE

Knowledge is a mighty sword, but ignorance can be a shackle. Drenched in darkness, ignorance breeds powerlessness. Many languish in the school of ignorance, unknowingly trapping themselves in poverty. You’ll find the thread of ignorance woven through every corner of the globe.

NOT KNOWING WHO THEY ARE AND THE POTENCIAL IN THEM

Many remain financially strapped because they are blind to their true identity. In the classic tale, ‘The Prince and the Pauper,’ we witness a striking exchange of roles. Even while living as a pauper, the prince struggles to shed his royal bearings. Mindset shapes our very essence, and it’s challenging to embrace a life of shame when your true self is begging to shine. Discovering your authentic self, as intended by the Creator, makes it near impossible to accept a life steeped in poverty.

l UNLOCKING YOUR HIDDEN TREASURE

Neglecting to see your potential is like burying a treasure chest at sea. Countless individuals endure financial drought while their gifts remain dormant, shackled within. Much like a wandering spider, equipped to weave but searching for materials, we too possess the innate power to craft our own wealth, often oblivious to it.

Picture a man dreaming of distant shores, bent on chasing greener pastures. He sells his possessions to buy a ticket aboard a ship bound for new horizons. With his last coins, he stocks up on water and biscuits for the journey.

Once aboard, he retreats to his cabin, casting envious glances at fellow passengers indulging in feasts. Though temptation beckons, he feels anchored in scarcity. “If only I had their fortune,” he ponders each day. What he doesn’t realize is that he carries the seed of abundance within, just waiting to bloom.

As the journey nears its end, a knock echoes at his cabin door. It’s the captain, come to invite him to the final arrival banquet. The captain notes that this passenger has neither ordered food nor joined a meal throughout the voyage.

Opening the door, their conversation unfolds:

Captain: “Good day, sir! I’ve noticed you haven’t ordered anything.”

“Are you unhappy with our menu? I’m here to assist you.”

“We invite you to tonight’s grand arrival banquet.

Many individuals, blissfully unaware, fail to recognize it as a pressing concern. They toil tirelessly, yet their efforts often dissolve into futility. Why?
